Kansas City :: Fly Wedding Reception

We spent the past weekend in Kansas City for Amy & Derek's wedding reception. While we were there, we were able to visit with my dad and mom as well. It really was a pretty calm weekend and such a FUN reception! We couldn't be more happy for Amy & Derek and are so glad we were able to help them celebrate!

After giving her a bath and laying her in her towel, I had to run into her bedroom around the corner to grab a diaper; this is what I came back to :-) (Of course, then I had to go to the living room to grab the camera lol)

Johnny had a really great opportunity this past week to take part in an Army Boss' Flight Event. He was nominated by (Captain) Jim Seibert, the Shelton, NE manager, to take part in the event. Johnny was able to experience a few army drills, an "MRE" meal, gun shooting and even a blackhawk ride! He had a really great time and was on "cloud 9" when he got home that day. He was very thankful to Jim (and the army) for allowing him to do this! It really meant/means a lot to him!

First Visit to the Big Apple Fun Center.....the ball pit was pretty cool, the slide was pretty cool, but she DID NOT like the rocket ball launcher. It made quite a loud sound and she screamed every time it went off.

((Forgot to post this in our vacation post)) Mellany's very first airplane ride.....I LOVE this picture....the expression on her face is priceless! She was happy happy!
