{{Somewhat}} Wordless Thursday!

Every other Thursday seems to be a common theme around here; my last two posts were on Thursdays too at two week intervals! Ha!! Must be something about heading into the weekend that gives me a little freedom in the daily schedule....We are excited for a fun weekend coming up and the start of December and all the celebrating that brings! Bring on the jammies, hot chocolate, Christmas lights, candy canes, Christmas movies, Pinky the Elf, Christmas countdown and Kansas City!!!!

Here's what we've been up to the past two weeks....

Celebrating Mrs. Heather's birthday

A trip to the Children's Museum

Snuggles....lots of snuggles...Charlie really loves to have his back rubbed by daddy

THANKSGIVING!!!! This family of 5 may have been home by themselves but we still ate like we were surrounded by family....John fixed turkey and all the extras and the kids and I took care of dessert. Johnny also helped with turkey prep while Mellany watched from a distance and asked a million questions about the circle of life :)

Two boys and their vehicles

The stage where eating is a HUGE mess all the time.

HAPPY THURSDAY!!!

{{Somewhat}} Wordless Thursday!

Lots of random things going on these past couple of weeks! We are all gearing up for an exciting holiday season!!!

It has gotten super cold outside....so somebody snatched daddy's hat.... :)

I think we have a potential "lefty" in the house

Just two guys working...John on a really old scale and Johnny on his firetruck and front loader

Sandy never disappoints

Fun at the neighbors house

Already getting his own food

Leap pad time!

Charlie made a friend in line a the grocery store

After working out one morning, I walked in to get Charlie and Johnny and Charlie was sitting at the table for the first time like a big boy eating a snack

....Johnny wanted to be sure I got a pic of his favorite car at "Kids Club"....and a picture of him with his friend Olivia (who's dad actually works with John)

Charlie playing dress up in Johnny's halloween costume

Two best good friends and their American Girl dolls!

....and then a couple brothers who wanted to join in...love these kiddos!

"Discovering" gems

Mellany's Turkey Disguise project....each Kindergartener was given a turkey to "disguise" so that it doesn't become Thanksgiving dinner. After two weeks of thinking about what she wanted her turkey to be, she decided on a gumball machine, which we loved!!! She was extremely proud of her project.

Johnny wanted a pic with mom!

Reading books before bed time and helping Charlie walk (Charlotte got to come play with us for a couple afternoons/evenings this past week!)
