{Somewhat} Wordless Wednesday!

We are gearing up for a SUPER exciting couple of days as Samantha and Anderson are on their way to see us!!!! We cannot wait and are super pumped for some time together! So before I clog my camera with a ton of Anderson/Mellany pics....I thought I'd get up-to-date with my posts!

Our culdesac is finally complete and we decided to have a party to celebrate and meet everyone. One of the neighbors has the bright idea of renting a bounce house and dividing the cost....it was money well spent!!

Kansas City Vacation!

This past week, Johnny took a couple days vacation and we made our way to KC for a little getaway. We decided to take a couple days to ourselves and let Mellany get some Nana time. Our first day was spent shopping, playing games at Dave & Buster's and enjoying a couple meals sans a kiddo. (We really had no idea what to do with ourselves!) The second day we spent in the Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark (where we stayed) and eating BBQ before heading back to Lathrop. The adult time was much needed and we both came back refreshed!

Johnny's 15 year reunion was also this past weekend as was our town festival. It was really nice seeing old friends and having everyone meet Mellany. Mellany took advantage of the kiddie ride at the festival but wasn't a fan of the baby show whatsoever! Oh well, maybe next year.

As usual, I did a pretty poor job of documenting our trip through photos. Maybe one of these days I'll get a little better!
