Our Spring Break and Easter were nothing but pure fun this year!! The pictures pretty much explain it all so I'll just get right to it!
Brad, Amiee, Capri & Delaney came to visit us for the whole week. (John spent the week in KC with his mama to help her recover from a small surgery--which went pretty flawlessly thank goodness!)
Their trip to visit us began with a birthday celebration for Brad's 30th! Growing up we always had ice cream cake for our birthdays and this year was no different. Each kid got to blow out a candle and they thought it was the best thing...
Getting some snuggles from Charlie & Delaney
Charlie eating a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin; he really loves his food!
We took a trip to the mall to play and visit the Easter bunny! Everyone was really excited about the bunny until it was time to sit with him and nobody wanted to except Delaney....Charlie was especially mad! (The picture on the left shows Charlie loving on Delaney....just melted my heart!)
We took a girls shopping trip to Meijer where I teased my brother about bringing home these stuffed animals for his girls...
I mean isn't she so cute?!....just look at those rolls!!!
Watching a show
All 5 kiddos L-R: Capri (3), Mellany (6), Delaney (5 months), Charlie (18 months), Johnny (3)
Movie/Sleeping Bag night!
Aunt Mae-Mae & Charlie
I seriously have the cutest nieces!!
These kiddos are definitely Brad & I's kiddos because they love watching movies!
We were sad to see my brother and his family leave us. The house felt pretty empty after they left but on the bright side, John was coming home and Easter was the next day!
Easter
Easter Morning! The kids really love celebrating Easter and the meaning behind it. I feel like they are continuing to truly understand it more and more every year.
Easter Morning cuties!
Dyeing Eggs with Simon & Charlotte
Easter egg hunt...
More egg decorating with the "Egg-mazing" machine....I had never seen anything like this before. It was sooooo cool! You use markers to decorate with and the machine spins the eggs while you decorate....it was seriously awesome!
(I just love how crafty these girls are.)
Rice Krispie Treat decorating and eating
Mellany left a questionnaire for the Easter Bunny again this year. She wanted to know if the bunny was a boy or girl and his/her name. Turns out our bunny is a boy named Bud. (Charlie got a hold of the paper and pencil on Easter morning to write himself a little note too.)
Our pretty eggs on our table.
See what I mean....SO. MUCH. FUN!!!!
Happy Spring!
