20 Weeks

We're halfway there!!! I'm feeling great and now that we are in our new home, I'm getting very anxious to set up Mellany's room. I still only feel her moving around as "butterflies" and pressure on my lower abdomen and am ready for some kicks and punches. Occasionally I get some sharp ligament pains which go away pretty quickly, thankfully, because they hurt! We've set up our first doctor appointment with our new NE doctor for June 22. We are lucky to get another ultrasound at that appointment because our new doctor wanted to see her and double check everything since we had our normal "20 week ultrasound" a couple weeks early. The baby bump is really starting to push out and become more noticeable and Johnny says I get a little bigger every day. I read that I should expect to gain about a pound a week from this point forward so I guess I really need to start investing in some maternity/larger shirts. I'm trying very hard to get back into the routine of exercising as it has been pretty difficult with the move and end of school (but so desperately needed due to our eating habits recently). I don't know that I will be able to get back to running at this point, but anything is better than nothing.

Here's to meeting Miss. Mellany in 20 weeks or less!
