My cousin Wayne and his girlfriend Vanessa got married!!!!! They currently live in Texas so they had the wedding there; McKinney to be specific. The Barrett circus took the 2 hour flight to help them celebrate and we couldn't have asked for a better time! We had so much fun spending time with our family, it was hard to leave. (Though it does always feel good to be home--especially with kids who like their own beds.) We are really glad that we made the trip and were able to share in Wayne & Vanessa's big day!
I'm actually pretty proud of myself for the amount of pictures we took. I think I caught just about everything! Here's the first big trip as a family of 4!
In the airport with our luggage waiting for John to drop off the car and come back to us. We packed pretty well for 4 people, or at least I thought we did....4 suitcases, 2 car seats, 1 camera bag, 1 diaper bag, 1 purse and 2 backpacks, plus a blanket and Truman.

While in Texas, we took the opportunity to visit the Dallas Children's Aquarium. I think mom, dad and Gammy had more fun than the kiddos did. :)
I'm pretty sure the highlight of Mellany's trip was jumping in the puddles we found while at Fair Park, TX (Children's aquarium). She kept saying "daddy, take my picture!"
We got to visit some good friends while in town too! Josh & Tiffiny Boschee as well as see Tiffiny's dad Bruce and meet their cute little boys Grant & Reid.

Did I mention Mellany LOVED the plane ride?! Johnny didn't care much for the flight to Texas because he was tired and just wanted his own bed, but he didn't seem to mind the flight to Indiana...he had gotten some sleep before the flight took off so as long as he was eating some snacks, he was pretty much good.
We are so excited for Mr. & Mrs. Brelsford to start this new chapter in their lives and wish them all the best!!! We love you guys!!!
