{{Somewhat}} Wordless Sunday!

Harvest has been in full swing which means long hours and lots of traveling for John. Thankfully this harvest has gone very smooth and is going by quickly. The last I heard, it will be mostly finished by November 1. We are excited for that day to come and to have our main man "back". Until then, we are just keeping busy with our normal day-to-day routine.....gym time, preschool, ballet, gymnastics, bible study, church, our weekly Chic-Fil-A dates with Joy and kiddos, grocery shopping, etc. etc.

Here is our randomness from the past few weeks!

On Wednesdays we wear tiaras...Mellany insisted that we needed them one morning before bible study

Riding her new scooter home from preschool. She lasted about 20 minutes before deciding to walk the rest of the way.

I'm not sure where this came from....but she really liked wearing her skirt like this in ballet...

Doesn't everyone pile pillows on themselves to sleep?

A little reading

More of Mellany's photography

The Wednesday before her birthday, Mellany got to wear a Birthday sticker at ballet! It totally made her day! (I guess we are back to wearing our skirt the normal way)

At the end of September John and I decided it was time to buy some bicycles. We researched some local places to look/buy here in town and found the perfect bikes and bike trailer for our family. We have been getting a ton of use out of them and really enjoy the time spent together riding. We are kind of kicking ourselves for not purchasing long ago! The kids were a little unsure of the bike trailer at first (especially Johnny), but ended up really liking the ride. Mellany would probably prefer to ride her own bike, but she doesn't mind hopping in the trailer either. (Especially if Ariel gets to ride too!)

We reached the end of session 1 for ballet and gymnastics. At the end of each gymnastics session, the kids get a ribbon and list of techniques that they are able to do. When they receive their ribbons, they get to stand up on the "podium" and "ta-da". This was Mellany's "ta-da"....an arabesque....and then a normal "ta-da"

Johnny's latest discovery....climbing in the cabinets

More gymnastics skills....We are so proud of this girl and how far she has come in her skills....

I was cleaning up dinner one night and realized the kids had gotten quiet. When I looked over the counter to see what was going on, this is what I found.....Melt. My. Heart!

Halloween Movie/Pajama Party at a friends house!

Mellany's newest accomplishment is pumping her legs while she is swinging!!! We are SUPER excited about this!!!

At the end of each session for ballet, the parents get to come in to the dance room for "Smile Time". During these few minutes, the dancers exhibit some of their techniques up close and personal for the parents. Mellany has also come very far in ballet....when she first started taking ballet she wasn't even able to stand in first position; now she is leaping and standing in different positions and stretches....it's truly amazing!

Just a little random video of Johnny that captures him so well. He was saying "hot" and "more" because he wanted more food but thought it was hot....his little giggle is hilarious and he is almost always in his high chair because he literally does not stop eating! Seriously....doesn't stop!
