Chip & Joanna always have a name for the houses they show their clients, so we thought we'd do the same.....
Introducing: The Urban Cowboy
We are so excited to say that in about a month, we will own this home!
It happened pretty quick and we weren't even really looking, but we just couldn't pass it up. We actually looked at this house a year ago but passed on it because it needed some "love" and John was traveling quite a bit. But, it came back on the market and all the work was done by the current owners and we put an offer in the next day, which was accepted a couple of days later.
The house comes with a barn and sits on 10 acres....which is going to be a perfect spot to sit our camper on and even have a large garden or horses someday! Johnny is most excited about the possibility of a tractor, Mellany is begging to paint her new room pink and get a horse right away, and I think Charlie is going to love all the running space.
We are currently working our tails off to sell our house and close on the Urban Cowboy so we've added even more chaos to the circus. Thankfully my mom was here this weekend and was able to help us prep the house and hang out with the kids while we met with our realtor.
We are so looking forward to our first home purchase of 2 black rocking chairs and the years we will spend in them on the front porch!
