Now that school is over, it's that time again....time for the BUCKET LIST!!!! We've thought long and hard and these are the items that made the list this year. We are repeating some favorites and adding in some new. We can't wait to get them all crossed off!!!
Picnic at the Park
Crossing this one off was actually really spontaneous. We were traveling back from KC and were planning to stop at our usual McDonalds spot. When we turned the corner, we basically saw a completely leveled McDonald's and they are rebuilding. So, we grabbed some pizza and headed to one of the parks in the town. It was actually really refreshing and good to stretch out a bit. Even Winston loved it and no one had to sit in the car with him while the others ate....basically a win-win!
Cheer Camp
Strawberry Picking
Donuts
Mary Lou Donuts are a must every now and then and summer is one of those times. It just so happened it was National Donut Day too!
FireHouse Subs
This was an "add-in". After T-Ball one Saturday, the Okos crew invited us to join them for lunch. We had never been to FireHouse before so we gave it a try and decided to add it to the bucket list because it was a total experience! You order your food, you get a hat, you sit at Dalmatian tables and there are tons of firefighting artifacts around the restaurant to enjoy. It was awesome!
Dog N Suds
We ventured here after VBS one day!
Ice Cream
Always a favorite! Of course, I think the boys are always way more interested in the "town" than the ice cream itself, but either way it is so good!
Art Camp
Mellany really wanted to go to our local pottery painting venue camp last year but we just weren't sure if she would really enjoy it. So this year when it started getting advertised and she began asking again, we decided to enroll her and see what happens. Let me tell you, our girl was in HEAVEN and that is no exaggeration! She loved every single minute of 6 hour camp for 5 days and it was worth every single penny. Each day, they completed a pottery piece in the morning and a canvas in the afternoon! She is so proud of her work and we are too!
Playing in the Rain
Charlie wanted nothing to do with this activity, but the big kids enjoyed every minute.
