Last week, John turned the big 40!!!! He wanted a low key celebration so we did just that. Virginia was in town so she made his favorite meal of all time including poppy seed cake for dessert, decorated the house with some pictures throughout his 40 years, some balloons, and some ceiling spirals and opened a few presents from Virginia.
We will be taking a trip to Nashville (just John & I!!) in the near future, as his official gift from me!
I can't say enough how much John means to me! I couldn't be more fortunate to have such an incredible man to spend my life with, raise a family with and spend each day of this crazy life with. He is compassionate, thoughtful, genuine and always has just the right thing to say. He has the best laugh and tells such great stories. He is the hardest worker I know, and Cargill is so lucky to have him. John is the kind of guy who will be there when you need him no matter what it takes. He strives for perfection and gives 110% into anything he commits to. He loves to be outside working on anything and everything and truly enjoys all of our ongoing house projects. He is one of the best listeners and is truly empathetic with any situation. If I ever need advice, he is the person I turn to first. He is my soulmate and I'm so thankful God chose him for me!
Here's to another 40 years!
