One of my favorites...

In my daily environment I, like many others I know, face a lot of negativism from others....students, coworkers, etc. So in order to stay positive I think a lot about some of the things that make me happy. So, I thought I would share one of my favorites. I'm sure this will be the first of many "favorite" entries.....

Most of you know that I am a huge Kenny Chesney fan, but in the past couple of years, I have become a big fan of a group known as Lady Antebellum. They are a mostly country group made up of one girl and 2 guys. Their music is so great and can put me in a better mood immediately upon hearing it. I was really introduced to them through my friend Audrey who's in-laws are connected to them in a way that I can't remember. I had heard their first #1 song, but Audrey is the one who played their CD nonstop in her car one weekend I was visiting her. From that point on, I was pretty much hooked. Shortly after Johnny and I started dating, we saw them open for Kenny Chesney and they were just as amazing! I've posted a link to their website where they post videos every Wednesday. This week's was a recent performance in Louisville, KY of an amazing song called "Something bout a Woman". The link below will take you to that video. Some of their other hits include "Need You Now", "Our Kind of Love", "I Run to You", and "American Honey". Those links are below as well! Enjoy!

I would say that over the past year and a half to 2 years, my music tastes have started to change. Since meeting Johnny I have grown to like the 80's rock bands like "Poison" and "The Eagles" that my mom always tried to get me to like, as well as the old school 50's and 60's music such as "The Platters". I'm one who isn't real picky about what I listen to, but there are certain types that can definitely put me in a good mood....and Lady Antebellum is one of them!!
