Summer Fun!

This summer is one of our best yet!! We are continuing to cross things off our bucket list, we're knee deep in our landscaping project and we are also taking advantage of some much needed rest. It's hard to believe that in almost a month everyone will go back to school....we all know that makes me super sad! But for now, this mama is happy with all the summer things!!

Our church had it's first "Family Day". We took on parking lot duty and popcorn duty and the big two kiddos were excited to be part of the "big service" where they sang kids songs from VBS and their Sunday classes. There was also a photo booth that our kids really loved (even though its hard to tell from the picture) and sno cones to enjoy!

Puppy dog dreams come true!

Can you find Winston?

The fields in our subdivision got mowed and bailed a couple weeks ago and the kids (especially Charlie) loved getting to see all the equipment.

Mellany wanted to take a picture of mommy and Winston

Charlie hit a wall one day last week and slept the entire day,  no fever, vomiting, etc., just sleeping. I wasn't sure what was happening but fast forward a week and his little body was fighting off hand food and mouth!

TractorHouse magazines from Mr. Jon make everything better...

Keeping our skills sharp even in the summer....possibly motivated by a fun prize!

At the doctor because the little guy spiked a 103 temperature after church. I was able to keep it down with Motrin until Monday afternoon. When it wouldn't stay down even with Motrin, I took him to see the dr and she diagnosed him with hand foot and mouth....which explains the sleepy day he had last week....

Here's to hoping the sickness starts and ends with one kid and passes quickly! We've got half a summer ahead to experience all the fun stuff and don't have time for illness! :)
